ITBP Public School, Seemagarh is located in a small town called Merthi in the Pithoragarh district of Uttaranchal. The school has produced many alumnae who have brighten its name in the fields ranging from Information Technology to Army. The School is run by the Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) which is a paramillitary force under the Ministry of Home Affairs, MHA, Govt. of India; and is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
